The Finance Department is responsible for the overall coordination of year end Group audit and the preparation of draft audited financial statements and working papers for the year end audit. Prepares Group year end consolidation of accounts for over fifty (50) companies. Coordinates annual Group Budget preparation; Group tax planning and taxation matters; and assesses and appraises possible investment opportunities. Prepares consolidated statements for the Group of companies. This Department is also responsible for Head Office Accounts and record keeping and for the publication of the Annual Report to shareholders.

Ms. Small was appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer of Goddard Enterprises Limited effective January 1, 2008 after having acted in the post from April 1, 2007.

Previously, she served as Group Financial Officer from April 1, 2006. Mrs Small joined the Group on September 4, 2000 as Financial Controller of Hipac Limited. She held the position for five and half years before being promoted to Head Office.

Her responsibilities include planning and coordinating the Group's financial and investment activities as well as developing and coordinating the financial strategy of the Group; ensuring that adequate financial resources are available to accomplish the Group's business objectives; manage the corporate finance and accounting functions and managing cash flow investments and credit lines to maximize the productivity of the Group's financial resources.

Mrs. Small was educated at Queen's College and the Barbados Community College. She attended the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree with First Class Honours in Accounting. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants(FCCA), having qualified in September 2000.

Prior to joining Goddard Enterprises Group, Mrs Small worked for Ernst & Young. She is currently a part-time lecturer at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. She was born in 1977.
