The Sales and Marketing Manager reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for managing the company’s Sales and Marketing operations and activities, in order to increase the company’s market share, increase sales, meet or exceed profit targets specified by the company’s strategic business plan and budget; and provide quality customer service to customers.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Developing the annual business plan to achieve sales in line with corporate strategic objectives
Researching, analysing and monitoring the financial, technological, and demographic factors that may affect present and future needs for the company’s markets, product mix, and distribution systems
Developing effective pricing strategies and purchase order systems in conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer
Coordinating various Distributors in the compilation of marketing, advertising, distribution, and merchandising plans for the various markets
Overseeing the operation of sales administration and logistics
Developing and executing a customer feedback survey in collaboration with Distributors to analyze the local market’s response to the company’s products and service
Researching and developing new markets for company products

Goddard Enterprises Limited is seeking to recruit a dynamic and highly self-motivated Efficiency Specialist to join its team, on a fixed term contract for two years initially. The ideal candidate for this position must have prior exposure to and understanding of significant business processes such as supply-chain management, production, customer service and distribution as well as an understanding of manufacturing operations.
This individual must also have knowledge of Systems Analysis techniques and procedures, Operations Research, Business process mapping techniques and an understanding of statistical process control. He/she must have excellent leadership and analytical skills; must be results oriented and disciplined with a keen knowledge of Project Management.
The Efficiency Specialist reports directly to the Group Human Resources Department in the Corporate Head Office with day to day reporting to the General Manager[s] of the assigned Group subsidiary companies.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Improving the efficiency of subsidiary companies through the design/redesign of business processes, procedures and systems in the areas of Procurement, Inventory Control, Customer Service, etc
• Benchmarking processes against ‘best practice’ and documenting these processes to improve quality and productivity and eliminate wastage
• Designing and preparing manuals on the new/redesigned systems and processes
• Training employees in the use of the new/redesigned systems and processes
• Developing and implementing projects as required
